Landstoken

Today they arrived! The stuff I sent for from Landstoken. There was the spiderweb mask, the chipboardalfabet, the clear stamp, the samll letters, and a suprise! A stamp from their own collection. :) Always nice to get something extra. So now I can make the picture for my nephew. But not today :( The boys are away to a soccer match and I am taking care of my daughter.

Shopping

So I went shopping with my sister last Friday but I didn't find what I was looking for. :( The Tim Holtz mask with the spiderweb was sold out everywhere! When I got home I ordered it online so I hope it gets here in the next couple of days so I have time to finish the gift for my nephew.

I really enjoyed showing my sister the world of scrapbooking. I have thought that it would make a great hobby for her but I have tried not to nag about it too much and now she has found it out for her self. I think we are close but not the way where we constanly call each other and hang out all the time. I enjoy her company and we have a great time when we do things together, and it is even better if our brothers are there too. I feel lucky! :)

What's happening?

Not much... I'm going shopping tomorrow to find stuff so I can make a name-plate for my other nephew (he turns 8 next week). I'm really excited about this because my sister will come along. She wants help finding stuff for an album she started about her baby boy Teodor.

I'm waiting for my first number of Creating Keepsakes. They have great offers if you want to subscribe.

I borrowed some books on origami at the library. Unfortunately I had to return them before I got to write about them here. I think you can get a lot of tips from them though so check your local library for books about origami. :)

I hope I can get som scrapbooking done this evening. I'm going to put som things together for my sister too. I will not get anything done this weekend, that's for sure. Busy, busy, busy!!

A wedding, a christening and great grandparents

I never seem to get my pictures the way I want them here ...

Saturday I went to the wedding of a childhood friend. It was so beautiful! She looked just lika a princess and they really had the princess wedding!! I made a card for them and the gift was a.... scrapbook album of course! The bride said that she will start scrapbooking after the wedding so I thougt it would be a great gift.

Sunday my nephew got bapticed (a rough weekend). I was going to make a card to go with the frame I bought but I ended up making a picture/name plate in stead. I really like it. :)

I get inspiration from scrapping with my friends and this LO of my father's grandparents has influences from both Ammi and Anna. I know, the E could have been placed further up but... something is always crucked in the things I do.

I think I will start writing in English instead ... Why? There is a big world out there and too few people speak Swedish :)

Started following som blogs through facebook and put my blogs out there too so... that is how it all started.

I just finished an LO about my father's grandparents so I will scan it soon and put it up here but tonight I am going to make a card for my friend's wedding. I just hope that I will have the time to finish it... I'll put it up here but not untill after the wedding in case she takes a look here... not that I think she will have the time for it this week. :)

Magnolia i Borås

När vi bestämde oss för att åka till Borås så var det självklart att jag var tvungen att leta upp Magnolia. Jag blev inte besviken!! Deras utbud utöver deras egna stämplar är enorm. De har gott om olika papper och dekorationer. Köpstoppet gällde ju papper och onödiga dekorationer. Det som inhandlades var en Ink pad-väska från Tim Holtz och ett foamstamp-alfabet från Heidi Swap (ett stort). Alfabetet kostade bara 50 kr så det var ett bra klipp. Väskan blev jag besviken på för gångjärnet var en enkel sprint som släppte andra gången jag öppnade väskan här hemma. Jag skall försöka laga den med ståltråd... glömde försöka idag för jag var upptagen med att göra färdigt den LO jag håller på med.

Jag visste att jag hade en stor bit vit tyll liggande någon stans. Jag använde den för flera år sedan vid en Halloweenfest och inte haft någon nytta av den sen dess. Kom på här om dagen att jag kunde använda den till det jag höll på med nu men trodde inte att jag skulle hitta den. Hittade den i första lådan jag letade i! Hur ofta händer det?

Det kom ett brev!!

Jag har underbara vänner!

Jag skrev på min blogg att jag behövde rosor och gissa vad som kom med posten idag... Rosor!! Min vän Ammi hade sett inlägget och skickade en hel hög med rosor till mig. Helt underbart! Nu an jag göra färdigt den LO jag håller på med för jag hittade tyllet jag visste skulle ligga i en låda någon stans.

Ju äldre jag blir destu mer värdesätter jag mina vänner. Jag försöker visa dem i ord och handling hur mycket de betyder för mig men ibland kanske det inte kommer fram. Jag hoppas några av dem läser detta och förstår hur mycket de betyder för mig.
