The only thing that bugged be was converting the amount from american into swedish. Must have done it right thoug since they turned out well. I found the recipe at http://www.christmas-cookies.com/

creating Keepsakes and Tim Holtz work shop

I got my first issue of "Creating Keepsakes" in the mail today and I LOVE IT! There are so many ideas and techniques in this issue. I got really inspired.

Tomorrow I'm going to a Tim Holtz work shop at Brunsons in Halmstad. Not hosted by the man himself though. I have wated for this since spring so I am really excited about it.

I have two finished LOs that I am going to scan one of these days so I can show you.

Great grandparents and Help

The fusion of the scanned pictures did not work so well this time...
"Help! I'm being photographed" is of my daughter when she was 3 months old. She made these funny faces when the flash went of. I like the colour combination.
Cheris is of Tyra in my grandfather's arms and Tyra's father's grandmother's arms. Here I was inspired by Miss Muffin at Brunson's. I used left over papers and since I have a ton of chipboard decorations I tried to use a lot of that. I really like the colours here too.

Magnolia in Borås

I have been in Borås for two days, attending an insurance course. I just had to go to Magnolia before I went home! Turned out they have finally moved into a larger store. Unfortunatelly this ment that they had sold a lot of stuff before moving and had not ordered the latest papers. The new store was not quite finished but there is a lot of light and space so I think it will be a great place to visit once they have gotten everything in place. And... if you miss some of your old papers, maybe you will find it there because I found papers I bought 4 years ago. :) What did I buy? Shrinking plastic, a cuttle bug-die and a fiskars edge cutter.

Nephew's birthday

My nephew Robin turned eight the other day and since I did a sign for Max I thought I'd better make signs for the rest of the cousins too.
Robin is really in to superheroes and spiderman is one of his absolute favorites. I want him to be able to use the sign as he gets older so I didn't use any images of spiderman. Instead I used Tim Holtz mask with the web and a ribbon that looks like web. The letters are from a box I bought in Estonia, the R is embossed from a foam stamp from Heidi Swap, more Tim Holtz grungeboard. :) Robin said that he liked it and I believe him.

Old photos of me...

This time I have used some old photos of me. My father liked to experiment with his camera and I often ended up being the model for his experiments. The camp was in the beginning of summer but the red and orange gjve an autumn feeling.
A friend who looked at my blogg wants me to show the process of making an LO. I have given this some thought and I think I will try it. The LO I've started now is of my daughter and I guess I could try to take som pics of how I get to the finish line.
The red and orange one is from a camp I attended every year and I always stayed in my friend Sabine's orange tent.

Landstoken

Today they arrived! The stuff I sent for from Landstoken. There was the spiderweb mask, the chipboardalfabet, the clear stamp, the samll letters, and a suprise! A stamp from their own collection. :) Always nice to get something extra. So now I can make the picture for my nephew. But not today :( The boys are away to a soccer match and I am taking care of my daughter.
